What is Surface Prep

Before any flooring surface can be coated or covered, it may be necessary to perform some surface preparation. This may be especially necessary if the concrete subfloor does not meet the required standard for flatness or smoothness.

At Surface Archetypes, there’s no flooring problem we haven’t seen before, and help you with:

  •  filling small nail holes or crack repairs
  • diamond grinding to remove undulations
  • scabbling to eliminate high path edges,
  • applying a full coat of floor levelling compound to an auditorium size floor

We have the knowledge, equipment and expertise to rectify or repair any concrete substrate in any condition, to make good for coverings or coatings.
